This is a safe and nurturing environment for your children! We have experienced weekly art classes, Spring Break art camps, and Summer art camps. My daughter has enjoyed every minute and I appreciate the patience and communication with the art teachers. Looking forward to adult paint nights and kids night out in the future! My child has loved art camps at Northwind Art Studio. They make art approachable and fun even for all the students including boys who don’t have that much patience for fine details. The biggest testimony I can share is that for a kid who usually asks to quit any organized activity my son has asked to be signed up for extra sessions of art camp.

McKaylie Capps
Hey, I'm McKaylie!
I am an artist, art instructor and the owner of Northwind Art Studio. I graduated from Biola University with a degree in graphic design and I have been creating art since childhood. I specialize in graphite drawing, acrylic, and oil painting.
I have lived abroad in Athens, Greece where I studied fine art and taught English to pre-K children. Traveling has deeply influenced my art and desire to share the beauty of God's creation with others. Originally from Central Oregon, I draw inspiration from its stunning scenery. When I'm not creating art, you’ll find me traveling, reading, or enjoying time outdoors.

Hi I’m Becky.
I have always loved painting and teaching. I have taught high school math for many years but am thrilled to get back to my first passion, art, while still getting to do what I love, teach. I am excited to learn, design, inspire, and create with young artists like my daughter who join Northwind Art Studio.

Juliana Ito
Hello I’m Juliana!
I have always had a passion for art and learning new art forms. I have been a disability coach and a teaching aid for many years. I am passionate about helping others develop new skills and find ways of expressing themselves through art. Some of my favorite art forms are watercolor, graphite, alcohol markers and recently origami. I love to experience the world through art and I’m excited to help others on their artistic journey.
